Welcome to the website of singer songwriter, multi instrumentalist, virtuoso guitarist Drew Davidsen. Drew is an award winning billboard charting international recording artist, Singer-Songwriter/Guitarist. As a recording artist Drew has been writing and producing music for over 30 years. It all started when he was very little with two cassette recorders in his bedroom in Baltimore. Then there was a Tascam 4 track tape recorder. From then he started playing in bands around the DMV area. When Astro hit the radio things began to change. Thank you 94.7 The Wave for launching a humble musician to the next level. After a riveting performance sharing the stage with George Duke at the prestigious Catalina Island JzzTrax Jazz Festival a new era in contemporary guitar playing was born. Drew hit the ground running and hasn't stopped. Now days with computers and new technologies it's becoming more and more limitless as what an artist can create.
So where does faith fit in? While serving in the Navy during the Gulf War Drew was baptized in the Jordan River. This is where the Lord put a guitar in his hand and a new vision and purpose for his music in his heart! It's always about serving others. As Drew would say, “I like to write music that moves peoploe into action. I write music that makes an impact on the world." Songs with lyrics that cause you to think and reflect on God's goodness. In Drew's career so far he has been blessed with multiple hits on the radio including 5 Billboard singles starting with Astro written in memory of his Dad. This new chapter of his life will focus on music/songs that underline Gods immense love for people and what's possible when we believe. We pray and hope you are blessed by all of his music.
